When Galileo discovered the earth orbited the sun, do you suppose people felt stupid? I'm going to make you feel stupid.
The earth grows, large moons grow, suns grow. Solar systems grow, galaxies grow, and the universe grows. All this time, scientists have been jamming the Big Bang to an expanding universe, down your throat. There's no concept in science that justifies expanding, except for balloons. It's just a word, growth, that says so much. Like everything.
